South Boulder Recreation Center

Located at 1360 Gillaspie Drive, the South Boulder Recreation Center serves as a key athletic hub for the local neighborhood and active Front Range community. Climbing enthusiasts utilize the facility's dedicated indoor climbing wall, which features vertical routes, bouldering space, top-rope anchors, and auto-belay stations managed by trained municipal staff. Alongside climbing, the center provides a multi-use hardwood gymnasium, an indoor swimming pool, fitness and weight training spaces, and adjacent parkland. The atmosphere is grounded, practical, and centered on community fitness. Entry is managed through the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation system, supporting single-entry drop-ins, punch cards, and monthly memberships, making it straightforward to train indoors during any season.
