Demuth Park Pickleball Courts

Demuth Park serves as the epicenter of competitive and recreational pickleball in the Coachella Valley. Situated within Palm Springs' largest public park, the complex features 12 dedicated outdoor hard courts finished with high-contrast acrylic coatings and regulation permanent nets. The atmosphere is social and vibrant, driven by a dedicated local player base and visiting winter residents. Morning drop-in games run daily on a rotational paddle-stacking system, dividing courts by skill bracket from intermediate rallying to advanced tournament-level play. Afternoon and evening sessions benefit from overhead LED floodlights that cut through desert twilight until 10:00 PM. Operated by the City of Palm Springs Parks and Recreation, court access is free and operates primarily on a first-come, first-served basis, with select courts reserved for organized club leagues and municipal clinics. Shade pavilions and concrete spectator benches line the perimeter, providing relief between intense split-step points and third-shot drops.
