Located in the Marsh Barton Trading Estate, The Climbing Hangar Exeter delivers indoor bouldering designed for direct progression and social climbing. The centre features hundreds of colour-coded boulder problems across slab, vertical, and steep overhang profiles, reset on a weekly rotation by professional route setters. The facility uses seamless safety matting beneath all climbing walls, paired with clean, bright overhead lighting. Beyond the walls, climbers have access to dedicated strength and conditioning gear, including fingerboards, pull-up rigs, and free weights to support training regimes. The on-site cafe serves specialty coffee, sourdough pizzas, and craft beers, establishing a grounded social hub between climbing blocks. Sessions can be booked online via The Climbing Hangar website or paid upon entry at reception, with monthly memberships and pay-as-you-go day passes available for casual drop-ins and regular climbers alike.
