Viking Badminton Club

Based in the sports hall at Everest Community Academy in Basingstoke, Viking Badminton Club provides an active environment for competitive and enthusiastic club-level players across Hampshire. Play takes place across multiple indoor courts featuring sprung sports flooring that cushions joints during intense rallies, paired with high-level overhead lighting for unobstructed shuttlecock visibility. The club runs structured club nights using a traditional pegboard rotation to ensure balanced doubles matches throughout each evening. Outside of regular social match play, Viking fields multiple teams in the Basingstoke and District Badminton League, giving members competitive match practice against visiting clubs across the region. With an emphasis on consistent game time, good etiquette, and spirited competition, the club welcomes experienced players and returning club regulars.
