Pavilion & Avenue Tennis Club

Established in 1898 in Hove, Pavilion & Avenue Tennis Club is one of Sussex's most active venues for competitive and recreational tennis. The club offers 10 outdoor courts featuring high-grade artificial clay and all-weather hard surfaces, supported by floodlighting systems that allow play throughout the autumn and winter evenings. Players can participate in internal box leagues, Sussex County doubles divisions, or informal weekly social mix-ins. The club fosters a vibrant community ethos, anchored by a traditional pavilion clubhouse equipped with a licensed bar and a spectator deck overlooking the main courts. Junior development programmes, performance squads, and adult group training sessions run weekly under the guidance of LTA-qualified coaches. Court bookings and membership subscriptions are handled directly through the online ClubSpark platform, ensuring seamless court access for practice, league matches, and casual sets all year round.
