Westminster Boulder Wall

Located inside the Dolores Doré Eccles Health, Wellness, and Athletic Center on the Westminster University campus in Sugar House, the Westminster Boulder Wall serves as an active training hub for campus climbers and local bouldering enthusiasts. The setup focuses purely on unroped climbing over dense safety mats, featuring varied terrain that ranges from technical vertical slabs to steep overhangs and compression roofs. Route setters rotate boulder problems regularly across diverse difficulty grades, challenging climbers working on basic balance as well as those developing power endurance and grip strength. The environment is collegial and relaxed, anchored by student climbing clubs and community members sessioning together. Climbing sessions run during designated open recreation hours, with access managed via university facility passes, day access passes, and student recreation memberships through the front desk.
