Maverick Activities Center (MAC)

Located at the heart of the University of Texas at Arlington, the Maverick Activities Center (MAC) anchors campus recreation and outdoor racket sports. Tennis players have access to outdoor hard courts equipped with high-intensity floodlights for extended evening sessions. The atmosphere is energetic, driven by a mix of collegiate intramural players, faculty members, and local pass holders. The acrylic hard courts deliver a consistent, medium-fast bounce suitable for both singles and doubles matchplay. Facility access is administered through the MAC Member Services desk, where visitors and members can review court availability, check schedules, and sign in for recreational play. Alongside self-organized hitting sessions, the courts regularly host campus tournaments and student racket sports clubs throughout the academic year, fostering an active and organized community for competitive matches and routine training.
