Indianapolis Community Tennis Program

The Indianapolis Community Tennis Program operates at the expansive outdoor tennis complex on East 86th Street, adjacent to North Central High School. Grounded in decades of grassroots player development since its establishment by local tennis leader Barbara Wynne, the venue features dozens of asphalt hard courts lined for regulation singles and doubles, alongside scaled courts for 10-and-under play. The grounds remain active from early spring through autumn, hosting youth development clinics, adult drill nights, USTA junior circuits, and regional high school fixtures. Players compete on reliable surfaces with true bounces, framed by perimeter windscreens, sturdy tournament netting, and powerful overhead lighting for night sessions. Enrollment in seasonal leagues, summer instruction, and scheduled court play is managed through the ICTP program office and online registration.
