À propos de City Climb Gym
Located on Winchester Avenue in New Haven, City Climb Gym serves as the local hub for indoor climbing, bouldering, and movement training. The facility features dynamic top-rope stations, lead walls, and a dedicated bouldering floor with routes regularly reset to keep problems fresh and technically engaging. Climbers will find everything from slab technical footwork problems to steep overhangs on textured panels with continuous, thick safety padding underneath. The environment is unpretentious, driven by a dedicated community of local climbers, Yale students, and fitness enthusiasts sharing beta and training together. Beyond open climbing, the gym operates structured training boards, conditioning equipment, and a social front-desk area. Climbers can check in easily using flexible day passes or full monthly memberships booked online or at the counter, making daily training sessions straightforward.

City Climb Gym houses tall top-rope and lead walls alongside a comprehensive bouldering area with seamless safety mats. Bright, high-bay overhead lighting illuminates every hold, while a dedicated fitness section includes hangboards, campus rungs, free weights, and clean locker areas for changing before and after sessions.
Services & Enseignement
The gym offers top-rope belay certification courses, technique workshops, youth climbing teams, and one-on-one coaching. Rental harnesses, climbing shoes, and chalk are ready at the front desk, while organized community climb nights and seasonal youth camps run throughout the year.
