BlocHaus Climbing operates out of a converted industrial unit in Openshaw, delivering an unpretentious, community-driven bouldering space to East Manchester. The gym focuses purely on bouldering, featuring a wide spectrum of angles from technical vertical slabs to steep roofs, dressed in custom-textured plywood walls and continuous high-density safety matting. Graded circuits rotate on a rigorous weekly schedule, keeping problems fresh for both casual sessions and project-focused climbers. A dedicated training zone houses system boards, campus rungs, and free weights for off-the-wall conditioning. Off the mats, the warehouse atmosphere stays relaxed with communal bench seating, barista coffee, craft beers, and local baked goods. Entry operates via walk-in day passes, multi-visit punch cards, or monthly memberships, with a digital waiver completed before pulling on your first holds.
