Housed within a converted historic theater in downtown San Jose, The Studio Climbing brings vertical sports to the SoFA District. Operated under the Touchstone Climbing network, this urban climbing hub features soaring 40-foot walls dedicated to top-rope and lead routes, alongside technical bouldering sectors regularly reset by experienced routesetters. Textured climbing surfaces replicate natural rock friction, matched with impact-absorbing foam flooring throughout bouldering pits. Beyond wall climbing, the facility integrates a dedicated fitness loft complete with free weights, cardio gear, and tension training boards. The community here centers on everyday climbers, university students, and downtown workers sharing beta between attempts. Day passes and multi-gym memberships grant flexible entry, with booking and waivers handled smoothly through the Touchstone platform or at the front desk.

The interior features 40-foot rope walls illuminated by industrial overhead fixtures, dedicated bouldering areas with seamless landing mats, and a mezzanine training zone.
