Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex

Located on the campus of UNC Charlotte, the Halton-Wagner Tennis Complex serves as the competitive home for the Charlotte 49ers tennis program while anchoring the tennis scene in University City. The facility features 12 regulation outdoor hard courts surfaced in durable acrylic to deliver a consistent, medium-fast ball bounce. High-powered floodlights span the layout, allowing for intense evening practices and night matches. Spectators and players can track live collegiate matches from elevated bleachers positioned along the court banks. While the venue is heavily utilized for Division I intercollegiate training, Charlotte 49ers fixtures, and university recreation, it also hosts regional USTA tournaments, clinics, and select community programs throughout the calendar year. Access is coordinated around team schedules, creating an authentic campus athletic atmosphere where high-level match play takes center stage.
