City Bloc Indoor Climbing Wall

Founded by former GB climbing team members, City Bloc is a dedicated bouldering facility located just south of Leeds city centre. The venue houses roughly 150 boulder problems across technical slabs, steep roofs, and varied angles, with circuit resets carried out weekly by experienced route setters. Beneath the walls, high-density continuous foam matting provides secure fall zones. The venue prioritises authentic climbing progression with a dedicated training area equipped with campus boards, fingerboards, and system boards. The atmosphere is grounded and community-driven, where climbers regularly share beta and train together. First-time visitors complete a quick online waiver before climbing, while regular visitors can access monthly memberships or drop-in punch cards. A welcoming reception and cafe area serves quality coffee, recovery drinks, and snacks, making it easy to debrief after a tough session.
