The Spot Bouldering Gym

Founded in 2002 as the first dedicated indoor bouldering facility in the United States, The Spot Bouldering Gym remains a core institution for Front Range climbers. Spanning over 10,000 square feet, the Boulder venue features custom freestanding boulders modeled after iconic outdoor destinations like Fontainebleau and Hueco Tanks. The terrain shifts constantly thanks to a dedicated route-setting crew that rotates problems weekly across technical slabs, steep overhangs, and compression roofs. Under high-output industrial lighting and a continuous closed-cell foam landing system, climbers train alongside an engaged local community of dirtbags, outdoor athletes, and collegiate climbers. Beyond the walls, the facility integrates a dedicated training zone equipped with campus boards, system boards, and free weights, paired with a social lounge that pours local draft beer. Day passes, punch cards, and monthly memberships can be booked online or directly at the front desk, with no advance reservations required for open climbing sessions.
