The FDC

Located in Bowthorpe Park on the western edge of Norwich, The FDC delivers dedicated outdoor padel courts alongside its established football complex. Operated by Norfolk County FA, the centre provides an active community hub for players across Norfolk. The purpose-built padel courts feature tournament-grade synthetic turf infill, toughened glass surrounds, and efficient LED floodlights that extend play well into the evening throughout the year. Match play, local box leagues, and casual social knockabouts run throughout the week, drawing a diverse mix of regular racket sport enthusiasts and newcomers. Players can book courts easily online on a flexible pay-and-play basis, eliminating membership barriers. After matches, the on-site pavilion offers a licensed bar, hot drinks, and comfortable indoor seating overlooking the grounds.
