Located inside The Matchworks complex on Speke Road, The Climbing Hangar Liverpool South serves as a dedicated bouldering centre anchored in the local climbing community. The facility features expansive, continuous indoor climbing walls structured with varied angles, slab sections, overhangs, and volumes, with circuits refreshed weekly by professional route setters. Floor-level continuous foam matting guarantees safety across all climbing sectors. Natural light floods the warehouse interior, complemented by high-output lighting for evening sessions. A dedicated training mezzanine offers campus boards, Beastmaker fingerboards, and free weights for targeted conditioning. Off the mats, a bustling café serves locally sourced coffee, sourdough pizzas, and craft beers. Climbers can drop in directly or book online, choosing from pay-as-you-go day passes, punch cards, or monthly memberships without compulsory induction fees.
