Developed by Soccer in the Streets, this landmark project transformed transit infrastructure into a dynamic sports hub located directly outside the West End MARTA station. The facility centers on an all-weather synthetic turf mini-pitch, fully enclosed with rebound boards and safety netting for continuous 5v5 action. The pitch hosts structured adult leagues, drop-in pickup games, and free youth soccer academies that build community ties across southwest Atlanta. Overhead lighting ensures evening matches stay competitive under the city skyline. Players from neighborhood clubs and surrounding districts converge here weekly, creating a focused, authentic urban soccer culture anchored in accessibility. Field rentals, league registrations, and open match slots are managed through the Soccer in the Streets digital schedule.
