Millhouses Park Tennis Courts provide a key community tennis hub in southwest Sheffield along Abbeydale Road South. Situated within the active municipal park, the venue features six outdoor all-weather macadam courts that were refurbished under the Sheffield Parks Tennis programme. Court access is managed through an automated ClubSpark gate system, allowing players to book online, receive a PIN code, and walk straight onto their reserved court. A strong local tennis community frequents the site throughout the week, ranging from weekend social doubles and family rallies to players competing in the Sheffield Parks Tennis League. The surrounding park setting offers an energetic outdoor backdrop, bordered by mature trees and adjacent recreational fields. It serves as an accessible, high-standard municipal venue catering for regular recreational match play without the need for an expensive private club membership.

The venue offers six full-sized outdoor hard courts with regulation acrylic-painted tarmac surfaces and perimeter chain-link fencing. Entry is managed via a keypad-access gate system tied directly to bookings. While the courts do not feature floodlighting, making play daylight-only, public restrooms and the Millhouses Park Café are situated a short walk across the grounds.
Services & Enseignement
Courts are available via simple pay-and-play bookings or through Sheffield's annual park tennis pass. LTA-accredited coaches host regular group coaching, beginner drills, and junior holiday camps throughout spring and summer. The site also acts as a primary match location for local adult recreational leagues.

Situated on Abbeydale Road South (A621), the site offers dedicated pay-and-display parking near the park entrance. Multiple Sheffield bus routes stop directly outside, with tarmac paths offering step-free access to the court gates.
Matériel & Pro-Shop
There is no equipment rental desk or pro shop at the park. Players must bring their own rackets and balls. Permanent regulation nets are maintained on all courts.
